Our name is also the Beginners Call – "ACT 1 BEGINNERS TO STAGE PLEASE!" – the final call from Stage Manager to actors before the show begins.

We are two local professional actors who run drama classes in Nottingham. We teach children, teens and adults across three locations. (More about us and our name here.)

Our CORE focuses are:

Being local and independent, we have the freedom to create classes that we thoroughly believe in – using our industry knowledge and our understanding of our students, often covering topics we’ve found lacking elsewhere.

We also offer other exciting opportunities such as group theatre outings in partnership with local theatres. We believe that enjoying shows can be as formative as attending class and that being a respectful and attentive audience member is a skill to be honed like any other.
